Processing on behalf of Organizations

In most cases, you use We Tweak as an individual. However, if an organization with which you are associated (an “Organization”) registers for or otherwise uses our Services on your behalf (for example, a music label, studio, or educational institution), we may receive your personal information in connection with the Services provided to that Organization. To the extent we process your personal information solely to provide such Services to the Organization, we act as a processor (or “service provider”) on behalf of that Organization. This means:

  • We will handle your personal information only under the direction of your Organization;

  • The Organization’s privacy policy (and not this Privacy Policy) will govern that processing; and

  • The Organization (not We Tweak) is responsible for obtaining all necessary consents and providing all legally required notices.

To the extent we process your personal information for our own lawful business purposes (such as analytics, service improvement, or marketing), this Privacy Policy will apply.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

About Cookies:

We may collect information using “cookies.” Cookies are small data files stored on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device by a website. We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our Service.

We use two broad categories of cookies:

  1. First-party cookies, served directly by We Tweak, used to recognize your browser or device when you revisit our Service.

  2. Third-party cookies, served by service providers, which can recognize your browser or device across different websites and services.

Cookies we use

Our Service uses the following types of cookies for the purposes set out below:

Type of Cookie Purpose
Essential Cookies These cookies are necessary to provide you with services through our Service and to enable core features. Without them, certain services cannot be provided. Examples: Stripe (payment), PayPal (payment), Cloudflare (security), reCAPTCHA (fraud/spam protection).
Functionality Cookies These cookies allow our Service to remember your choices and preferences, such as login details or language, to provide a more personal experience.
Analytics and Performance Cookies These cookies collect information about traffic and usage patterns on our Service, such as the number of visitors, pages viewed, referral sites, and time spent on our Website. We use this information to improve and optimize our Services. Example: Google Analytics 4.
Advertising and Targeting Cookies These cookies track your browsing habits to deliver relevant advertising and measure ad performance. They may group you with other users with similar interests. Examples: Google Ads, Meta Pixel.
Social Media & User Experience Cookies These cookies allow you to share content or engage with third-party platforms, and they also power embedded content. Examples: YouTube and Vimeo (video players), Google Fonts, Font Awesome.

Third-party platforms we use

Here are links to the main third-party platforms we rely on for cookies and related technologies:

When you make a purchase through our Service, your payment is processed by trusted third-party providers such as Stripe and PayPal. These providers may collect personal information directly from you through cookies or similar technologies, including transactional data, payment details, and identifying information about the device you use to connect to their services. They use this information to operate and improve the payment services they provide to us, including fraud detection, loss prevention, authentication, and transaction performance.

We do not store or have access to your full payment card details. For more information, please review their privacy policies:

Online Tracking and Opt-Out Guide

Like many online companies, we may use services provided by vendors such as Google and Meta that rely on tracking technologies to collect information about your device and browsing behavior. This information is used to deliver interest-based advertising to you on other websites and platforms.

You can control or opt out of tracking in several ways:

  • Browser settings: Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies, including those used for interest-based advertising.

  • Mobile settings: Mobile devices may allow you to limit the use of your advertising ID for interest-based ads.

  • Privacy plug-ins or browsers: You can use privacy-focused browsers (e.g., Brave) or browser plug-ins (e.g., Privacy Badger, Ghostery, uBlock Origin) to block cookies and trackers.

  • Platform opt-outs: Google Ads Settings & Facebook Ad Settings

  • Industry opt-outs: Digital Advertising Alliance & Network Advertising Initiative

Note that these opt-outs are device and browser specific, and you will need to repeat them for each browser and device you use.

Pixel tags and similar technologies

We may also use pixel tags (also known as web beacons or clear GIFs) in our Services to track actions of users, measure the success of marketing campaigns, and compile statistics about Service usage. Unlike cookies, pixel tags and similar tools like Google Analytics or Google tag manager are embedded invisibly on webpages and emails.

Do Not Track signals

Some browsers may send “Do Not Track” signals. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals. However, you can use the opt-out methods described above or to find out more about “Do Not Track,” you can visit https://allaboutdnt.com/.
